Fletcher School and Instituto de Empresa Launch Dual Master’s Degree Program Degree combines international affairs and management

The Fletcher School at Tufts University, the nation's oldest graduate school of international affairs, and Instituto de Empresa, a leading European business school, have launched a new Dual Master’s Degree Program, according to a joint news release issued today.

The Role of Non-state Justice Systems in Fostering the Rule of Law in Post-Conflict Societies

Afghanistan, Bougainville, Liberia, Mozambique, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen ... these states all share recent histories of turmoil and a current climate of political uncertainty. They are also, along with Burundi, East Timor, Guatemala, and Sierra Leone, case studies for a Fletcher School-based, long-term project on the role of non-state justice systems in fostering the rule of law in post-conflict societies.

Fletcher’s International Development Studies Journal Praxis Reinvents Itself, Focusing on Human Security Issues

Praxis, formerly known as Fletcher's Journal of Development Studies, celebrated its 20th year of publication by joining forces with the school's Institute of Human Security (IHS) and renaming itself Praxis: Fletcher Journal of Human Security.

What do Steve Bosworth and Tom Brokaw have in common?

Stephen Bosworth, Dean of The Fletcher School at Tufts University, NBC newsman Tom Brokaw and Charlene Barshefsky, the former the U.S. Trade Representative, have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Council on Foreign Relations, effective July 1. The announcement was made today in New York during the CFR Board meeting in New York.
