Andreea D. Ursu is a first year MALD candidate at the Fletcher School focusing on Security Studies, International Political Economy, and Southwest Asia and Islamic Studies. Prior to entering the Fletcher School Andreea worked in trade, aid, and development policy on Capitol Hill and a D.C. policy foundation. Her research focuses on economic development, integration, and stabilization in broader Europe and the MENA region. Her thesis explores the feasibility of full implementation of the US-Israeli Free Trade Agreement to the West Bank. Upon graduation in 2010, Andreea will enter the U.S. Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer.
